The brief
1,340 square feet, a couple who both work from home, and a requirement for a guest room that could not permanently exist. The brief was almost entirely a storage and adjacency problem.
Our response
We planned it as one continuous loop rather than a set of rooms. A bay-window seat converts to the guest bed, the dining table folds back into a working desk, and the kitchen wall carries eleven linear feet of concealed storage behind a single flush surface.
