The brief
A west-facing apartment with an uninterrupted sea view and a glare problem for four hours every evening. The previous fit-out had fought the light with heavy drapery and lost.
Our response
A slatted timber screen runs the length of the living wall. It filters the evening sun into stripes rather than blocking it, and doubles as the concealed wardrobe face in the adjoining room. Furniture sits low. Nothing in the palette competes with the water.
